The Sport Department of Myanmar Christian Church organizes several different types of sport activities like soccer, basketball, volleyball and table tennis. The soccer tournament has become the most popular event each year and it is organized annually here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The purpose of this soccer tournament is
1. To get to know the Burmese people from different ethnic background who live here the U.S.
2. To raise up young people to be professional soccer players.
3. That young people may know God.
4. To establish a team that will eventually play soccer in Myanmar.
The Schedule of the Tournament:
Each year, the soccer tournament takes place during the Memorial Holiday weekend.
